Ongoing Martin’s/Giant Gift Card Program: Do you buy groceries? Are you interested in a way for the Church to earn $5 for every $95 parishioners spend at Martin's or Giant grocery stores? Gift cards are sold in $25/50/100 denominations and used just as you would cash in purchasing your groceries. For every $100 dollars in Gift Cards purchased, St. Catherine’s receives $5. Savings add up just as fast as shoppers use them to buy groceries. Participation is not limited to members of St. Catherine’s. Grocery gift cards can be purchased by anyone at face value. This is a great gift to college students, for Thanksgiving baskets and Stocking Stuffers! The "Taste of Heaven" Cookbook is NOW AVAILABLE for pre-delivery orders. The books should be ready around Dec. 1^st in time for Christmas giving. Cookbooks are $15. Please send your name, address, and phone #, along with the number of books you want and a check made out to St. Catherine's Eastern Orthodox Church to: L. Christopher 2010 Starlight Ln. 1-B. Hagerstown, MD 21740. . In the "note" area of the check please write the number of books ordered and for cookbooks: i.e. 5 cookbooks. St. Catherine would like to thank everyone for the very successful fund-raiser we had once again at Boonsborough Days. The event could not have been as profitable or as enjoyable if it were not for each one of you who volunteered. We would also like to give a prayer of thanksgiving to God for the blessings of good weather and the multitude of customers!

2nd Annual Green Fest in Boonsboro Maryland

2nd Annual Boonsboro Green Fest

Saint Catherines will be participating in Green Fest in Boonsboro for a second time.

Saint Catherine parishoners will be supplying yummy baked goods for sale as a fund-raiser for the church and for the various projects that we support.

The 2nd Annual Boonsboro Green Fest will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010. Hosted by the Boonsboro Recycling Task Force, the spring festival will run from 10 AM to 5 Pm in Shafer Park. Admission is FREE.

$Pasha\'s Christmas Cards$

For Christmas each year our parish creates a Christmas card that all of our families sign and that one of our children creates the art for. This card is then sent to our own members and to friends of our parish. For 2008 Pasha Heatwole created an icon of Mary holding baby Jesus. The image was so nice that his father decided to invest in creating packs of Christmas cards that could be purchased from the Parish as a fundraiser. Sets of 10 high quality cards and envelopes can be purchased for $12 or larger quantities can be bought at discounted rates. Contact our church for more information.
